MaTia Martin is a multidisciplinary artist originally hailing from West Fargo, North Dakota. In her work MaTia aims to question the unquestionable and create meaning out of even the smallest specks of curiosity. From being raised in such a small community she has learned that the one element that separates us more than anything is the lack of knowledge.
In response, MaTia works to both tell and uplift stories that make us question what it means to be human. In an ever rotating cycle of Writing, Directing, and Performing Martin proves herself to be a jack of all trades always willing to support, listen, and learn in any way she can. The world of art is forever about uplifting the imagination and telling the stories that need to be heard. MaTia vows to continue to tell these stories through unconventional mediums that will leave your mind racing with the question,

"I am a person who creates meaning out of everything. The further I can delve into something the more I discover just how impactful each element is. When I find like minded individuals like myself I jump at any opportunity to work, learn, and grow alongside them. I truly believe that art has the power to transcend galaxies and reach even the furthest walks of life. As I continue to grow in my artist self I want to keep making art that is undeniable. I want to tell stories we’ve never heard and I want to unite others through shared experiences. The world is in a constant realm of change and discovery. By aiming to move with, rather than against this change, I strive to use theater to make a difference, encourage discovery, and create everlasting impact".
